Orchestrating the BIG Day of Giving was a monstrous task. If I was to use this post to outline every step, every task, every meeting, it would no longer be a blog post, but a long and tedious novel – so I will spare you! While I and the team at the Foundation took these tasks head on, it certainly could not have happened without collaboration. I have heard people say how collaboration is hard, or that it’s easier to just do it all yourself. While there might be some nuggets of truth in those statements, I have to say that I don’t truly believe it – or rather – I refuse to. Collaborating, in all its forms, was one of the most rewarding aspects of working on the BIG Day of Giving.
