We Maximize Our Impact Together

At the Foundation, we define impact as the effect our work has on the social fabric of the community and the well-being of its individuals. Given the current reality in which community needs are growing while support has been shrinking, we have found that we can have greater impact through joining together.

How do we do this?

We maximize our impact in the Sacramento region by determining areas of need where we can have a greater effect by pooling resources, bringing the right partners together, and streamlining efforts to break down barriers and get things moving. This is what community foundations are best at — using limited resources and collaborative partnerships as a springboard to great accomplishments.

How can you join us?

If you believe as we do that collaboration is the way to solve community problems, please take a moment to learn about our Strategic Initiatives, areas where we can play a significant leadership role, make catalytic investments, and partner with key stakeholders to achieve meaningful change. From creating a more generous region, to fostering a thriving cultural community, to expanding equitable access to higher education, to creating a healthy, accessible food system for all, our Strategic Initiatives promote pivotal change in our Sacramento region communities.
