The Foundation offers a number of competitive grant opportunities for qualified nonprofit organizations interested in putting generosity to work in our communities. We invite eligible organizations to apply to our open grant opportunities, according to the guidelines articulated in each granting program's overview.
Immediate Need Grants: This program addresses urgent community needs and time-sensitive opportunities as they arise. The Immediate Need Grants program is one of the ways that the Foundation continues to be responsible and responsive to the changing needs of the region.
Dennis Mangers Fund for Young Performing Artists: Named for Dennis Mangers, civic leader and former Board Chair at the Foundation, the Dennis Mangers Fund for Young Performing Artists supports area nonprofits and projects that increase access to performing arts education for underserved youth in the Sacramento region. Nonprofit organizations in Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, and El Dorado counties are eligible to apply.
Transforming the Creative Economy: Supports local arts programs that respond to the changing needs of the region's creative community. This opportunity will support proposals that create new pipelines for the next arts audiences, donors, supporters, and leaders, strengthen the capacity of arts organizations, and foster new and innovative opportunities for arts exposure experiences.
