Whitney Pinkerton Fund

The Sacramento Region Community Foundation is pleased to announce the release of a mini-grant program for the region's public, private, and school (K-12) libraries. The purpose of the Whitney Pinkerton Fund is to award grants of up to $750 for the purpose of adding books to the libraries' general or special collections. Specifically, funds may be used to purchase works along the following genres:

  • Nonfiction
  • Biographies
  • History
  • Arts
  • Humanities

The Foundation will accept proposals for ebooks.

Funds may not be used for any other purposes or genres and may not be used to purchase text books or books for specific classes.

To be eligible, your organization must be located and provide services in our four county region: El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo Counties.
