Responding to the Camp Fire

Dear Friends of the Foundation,

As you know, the extremely dangerous Camp Fire has devastated communities north of our region, and donations from the public are needed to help offset the cost of the extraordinary response services that are required during – and will be necessary following – this emergency. We have made a grant the North Valley Community Foundation to provide immediate and long-term relief to those impacted by the fire, and we encourage you to do the same.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Our colleagues at the North Valley Community Foundation are accepting donations to their Camp Fire Relief Fund, which will provide short- and long-term support for those affected in their community.

In addition, you can donate directly to first responders like The American Red Cross Gold Country Region and The Salvation Army, who are currently deploying people and supplies to provide immediate relief.

To assist in the sheltering and evacuation of animals in the community, you can donate to the North Valley Animal Disaster Group.

Like you, our thoughts are with those whose lives are affected by this fire, as well as those impacted by the fires in Southern California. We are always heartened by the Sacramento region's response to crises and, as ever, we appreciate your generosity.
