Our Affiliate

Community Foundations around the country focus on specific geographic areas with a goal of helping their immediate communities thrive. The Sacramento Region Community Foundation serves donors and nonprofit organizations throughout El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counites. Further, through our affiliation with the Yolo Community Foundation, we offer our expertise, pool investments for greater return, and handle the administrative aspects of community foundation work — freeing its Board of Directors from those tasks and allowing them to focus on helping their community flourish.

Yolo Community Foundation

Founded in 2001 by a group of community-minded individuals throughout Yolo County, Yolo Community Foundation promotes philanthropy by serving as a public foundation through which:

• Community members pursue their own charitable goals 
• Local nonprofits benefit from Yolo Community Foundation programs and events
• Youth learn the meaning of community involvement and service

As a community foundation, they lead the campaign to create a county-wide culture of service and giving.
