Linda Beech Cutler was named CEO of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation in March 2013. Prior to joining the Foundation, Linda was President and CEO of the Mercy Foundation and served as Vice President, Corporate Communications and Corporate Responsibility for GenCorp, the former parent company of Aerojet/Rocketdyne. In addition to her other duties at GenCorp, she was President of the GenCorp Foundation and Chairman of its political action committee.
Recognized as a thoughtful and effective leader, Linda has served on numerous nonprofit boards and commissions. She has chaired both the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and the League of California Community Foundations, which builds and strengthens California’s communities by fostering collaboration among the state’s community foundations. She is a member of the Executive Committee and chair of the Research and Policy Committee at Valley Vision, and is an American Leadership Forum Senior Fellow. Linda has been honored as a Woman Who Means Business by the Sacramento Business Journal, and as a Top 100 Business Leader by Sacramento Magazine.
Linda holds a degree in political science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and completed professional development coursework at the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
