Beyond the final tally
During Big Day of Giving 2018 on May 3, 587 nonprofits in the Sacramento region made history and raised nearly $7.4 million from over 39,500 donations, bringing the total generated since the inception of the capital area’s annual giving day to more than $30 million.
Those numbers are remarkable, but they only tell a piece of the story.
After analyzing the quantitative and qualitative data collected from the Big Day of Giving website, donation data, and post-event surveys and focus groups, we are proud to release this annual Big Day of Giving Report to the Community, which dives deeper into the generosity that occurred on May 3.
