Big Day of Giving 2022 Report to the Community

Looking back on an incredible day of generosity

Friday, May 13

Weare proud to release our Report to the Community, an initial peek at the giving that drove a record-breaking 24 hours for 718 local nonprofits during this year's Big Day of Giving.

Nearly 30,700 people gave generously to nonprofits in every mission category, and gifts to some categories — Human Services, Housing/Shelter, Mental Health & Crisis Intervention, among others — grew substantially over past averages, demonstrating donors' sensitivity to pressing community needs.

We hope the information included in this Report illuminates the incredible day and highlights the donors, community partners, and nonprofit staff and volunteers who made it possible—we send them our deepest gratitude!

This year's Big Day of Giving would not have been possible without the support of our community partners, including our returning lead sponsor, Western Health Advantage.

Finally, be sure to mark your calendars for next year's Big Day of Giving, which will be held from midnight to midnight on Thursday, May 4, 2023! If you'd like to receive an email or text reminder, please let us know.

If you are a staff member or volunteer who'd like to ensure your organization is involved in next year's giving day, please sign up for the Big Day of Giving Bulletin to be alerted when eligibility and registration details are announced this fall.
