Field of Interest Fund

Support evolving needs and a variety of nonprofits focused on a broad area of your interest

By creating a Field of Interest Fund, you can choose to support a specific area of concern, and let the Foundation determine which organizations are doing the best work in that area, potentially through a competitive grantmaking process. The Foundation makes grants on your behalf to the most appropriate and effective organizations. A Field of Interest Fund allows you to focus your giving to an area that is meaningful to you, whether it is the welfare of children, the vibrancy of our local arts scene, or the prevention of homelessness, to name a few.

Consider a Field of Interest Fund if you:

  • Have a specific area of interest that you want to support

  • Want to learn more about other nonprofits in our community offering programs in your chosen field of interest
  • Believe in the depth of knowledge and evaluation capabilities of our staff to determine the needs and effectiveness of nonprofit programs
