Comprised of API (Asian and/or Pacific Islander) philanthropists and community leaders, APIs RISE aims to build and strengthen the next generation of API leadership for the capital region.
The APIs RISE mission is to increase the capacity and impact of API philanthropic giving in the Sacramento region. They advance their mission by cultivating and securing resources and by engaging with locals to learn about the issues affecting the community. Since they established the APIs RISE Fund at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation in 2014, APIs RISE has awarded nearly $170,000 to support mission-aligned work in our community.

This grant cycle, APIs RISE Fund grants will focus on addressing cross-cultural/cross-racial solidarity building, anti-Asian hate impacting our Asian communities, and working to combat anti-Black racism within our API communities. Funded projects should serve the Sacramento region. Applicants will be asked to provide: The maximum grant amount will be $10,000 for any single organization, and each awardee will be required to submit a brief report no longer than one page at the conclusion of the grant period or project.
