Chelsea Fahr is the Senior Director of Philanthropy at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. She strives to provide fundholders and donors with an exceptional experience while helping them meet and exceed their philanthropic goals.

Chelsea is a proud UC Davis Aggie with degrees in Communications and International Relations. Since her time at UC Davis, Chelsea has been deeply involved in Sacramento’s nonprofit community, volunteering and working with a variety of organizations. She has had the pleasure of working for the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross, focusing on donor relations, fund development, corporate partnerships, and event management.

She currently serves as President of the Planned Giving Forum of Greater Sacramento and is a 2021 graduate of Sacramento Metro Chamber’s Leadership Sacramento program. In 2023, Chelsea was recognized as one of Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.

Chelsea is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). This globally recognized credential signifies her expertise, professionalism, and ethical commitment to advancing philanthropy; it underscores Chelsea’s dedication to fostering meaningful philanthropy and achieving the best outcomes for our community.

Outside of the office, Chelsea enjoys exploring the Sacramento region and traveling with her family, spending time outdoors, and indulging in her passions for cooking, music, and gaming.
