As Director of Scholarships and Awards, Tina Bryce oversees the overall vision, planning and management of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s scholarship program which annually awards around $1 million to students pursuing their educational dreams. Tina has been with the Foundation since 2007; in her previous role at the Foundation, she managed grants administration for more than 700 charitable funds. With a career dedicated to community foundations — including eight years at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation — Tina brings invaluable expertise in supporting community-driven philanthropy that fuels meaningful change to her work.
In her current role, Tina finds deep fulfillment in helping students achieve their educational dreams. She also enjoys working alongside area philanthropists who establish and support scholarships, as well as community members who volunteer as scholarship evaluators. Every day, Tina is inspired by the kindness and dedication of those she encounters, each committed to making a positive impact in the Sacramento region.
Tina is an active member of the National Scholarship Association and the California League of Community Foundations. She currently lives in Roseville. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for causes she cares about in her community, spending time at her cabin, enjoying activities in nature, daily walks with her boxer Chico, and quality time with her husband, daughter family and friends.
