Partnering for Philanthropy
Advancing Sacramento Arts is an initiative of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation to develop a long-term source of funding for Sacramento arts organizations. Started with a $450,000 grant from The James Irvine Foundation, this initiative will expose more people to arts by funding community arts experiences as inspiration to give to the arts. To advance the future of this community, we know how important it is to keep arts organizations alive and thriving- to provide arts experiences for everyone who lives here and to encourage the next generation of artists from all disciplines.
The Foundation has opened two funds to insure a healthy present and a bright future for Sacramento arts organizations. One fund will be used for current support to arts organizations; one fund will be established as an endowment to ensure a permanent source of funding.
