Maria Ruñez Patrick serves as the Foundation’s Accounting Manager and is responsible for the Finance department’s daily operations, providing strategic oversight and analytical support to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
She brings with her over a decade of experience in the financial industry, working for a large mutual fund company and top financial advisor. Her experience ranges from working with retirement accounts to serving large foundations and financial planning.
After taking a break to raise her family, she decided to follow her passion for volunteering and joined the Foundation. Maria earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from San Jose State University and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Santa Clara University.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys traveling, photography, pottery, music, reading, and volunteering.
