The Senior and Family Services grant aims to aid nonprofits in Sacramento County in providing crucial services to seniors and/or low-income families.

Grant Criteria & Application

This grant will accept proposals from organizations that are well-equipped to carry out the proposed projects effectively. Grants of up to $4,500 will be awarded. Submitted proposals must include clear and measurable activities and objectives for projects/programs that either: 

  • service seniors via efforts such as transportation, food delivery, housing assistance, or housing improvement for immobility needs; or
  • service low-income families via efforts such as health-related home improvements and living assistance.

The proposed projects should be well-aligned with the organization’s mission. To be eligible for consideration, organizations must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Designated as or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) public charity;
  • Provides effective programs for seniors or low-income families;
  • Located in Sacramento County.
