The Neighborhood Fund

The Neighborhood Fund was created from a local philanthropist’s desire to support impactful organizations providing critical services in Sacramento’s Del Paso Heights neighborhood.

Grant Criteria & Application

The fund will award grants from $2,500 to $7,500, distributing at least $50,000 this year to support programs that are underway by the end of 2025:

  • Specifically, serve the Del Paso Heights community.
  • Are from organizations that are well-equipped to carry out the projects effectively and the projects are in line with the mission of the organizations.
  • Include clear and measurable project objectives and activities. Grant requests must be detailed with an explanation of how much money is being requested and note the specific purpose for which the funds will be used.

To be eligible, your organization must:

  • Be located in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and/or Yolo counties.
  • Be considered a 501(c)(3) public charity, 501(c)(3) private operating foundation or be fiscally-sponsored by an organization that meets this requirement.
  • Have a current profile on GivingEdge, or agree to submit a profile as a grantee before the final report deadline.
