As the Philanthropy Coordinator at the Foundation, Brigid Powers is dedicated to creating positive change within our community. Brigid understands the importance of building strong connections and fostering collaboration, and is driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact.

Raised by a mother who dedicated herself to volunteering and nonprofit efforts, Brigid developed an early understanding of the transformative power of giving back. In 2022, Brigid joined the Board of Directors for the Amador County Arts Council, which supports rural arts education and advances rural freedom of expression.

In 2018, Brigid earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from California State University, Sacramento. In 2022, she graduated with her Master of Arts in Art History from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where her research focused on depictions of female monasticism and spirituality in 18th Century Spain.

Outside of Brigid’s professional endeavors, she enjoys crocheting, traveling, playing video games, and spending time with loved ones. In addition, she also appreciates a nice glass of wine.
