Gordon is the Founder and Senior Partner of 3fold Communications, an award-winning marketing & advertising agency in Sacramento, California that connects healthcare, higher education, and government clients with their customers and communities. Prior to founding 3fold in 2004, Gordon, who was born in New Zealand, and raised in South America, worked with government, political, nonprofit, entrepreneurial start-up, and Fortune 100 companies on their internal and external communication strategies.
Gordon launched 3fold Consults in 2021, applying his deep understanding of brand building and storytelling, crisis communications, and internal team and stakeholder engagement to guide senior executives and leadership teams as they launch new ideas and strategies in their organizations and throughout their communities. A frequently requested speaker, Gordon travels nationally sharing his unique insights formed over 35 years of experience on how communication thinking can help growing companies achieve their goals, align their teams for more efficient and effective work, and grow developing leaders in their roles for greater visibility both externally and within their organizations.
An active leader in the 3fold mission of “contributing to thriving communities,” Gordon serves on the Board of Directors of The Impact Foundry as Board Chair, on the Board of Directors for Community Health Words (formerly Sacramento Covered), and on the Workforce Development Advisory Board for the Health Education Council. He has also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the Valley Vision Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors for City Year Sacramento.
