Renee Nunes Taylor is a Sacramento Community Leader with decades of involvement in private, nonprofit, and government entities.
Currently, she serves as Board Vice-Chair of the Sacramento Botanical Garden—her passion project—helping to bring a significant new community amenity to the Sacramento region.
Her past professional positions have included President & CEO of the Northern California World Trade Center, Chief Marketing Officer of Owen-Dunn Insurance Services, Executive Director of Fulton Avenue Association, and Founder/CEO of Forma Communication, a communications and community outreach firm. Additionally, Taylor served nine years as an elected member of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Board of Directors. She has been active in many nonprofit and community efforts, including serving on the Arden Arcade and Fair Oaks Planning Councils; the American River Parkway Update Committee; the Boards of Directors of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, Roberts Family Development Center, St. John’s Program for Real Change, Northwest Public Power Association, and League of Women Voters.
