We’re excited to share this year’s Report to the Community, a snapshot of the generosity that powered an incredible Big Day of Giving for 855 local nonprofits! Together, our region raised a record-breaking $13.8 million, pushing total giving through this community-wide movement to over $117 million since 2013.

Big Day of Giving is more than a 24-hour fundraising event. It’s a year-round program designed to grow local philanthropy, strengthen nonprofit capacity, and foster meaningful connections across El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties. While the numbers are impressive, the real impact is in the relationships built — between people and place, between neighbors, between causes and those who care about them. That sense of connection is the true legacy of Big Day of Giving.
